Product Designer

About this role

We need someone with 5+ years of experience in product design, ideally including time at a fast-paced startup or on a small, high-impact team, who is fluent in Figma and skilled in prototyping complex user flows. You'll be working on an AI-powered accounting service for software businesses, designing ways to interact with finance data and developing a deep understanding of the accounting and finance domain.

What you'll do

• Lay the foundation for design by establishing design systems—building components, patterns, and principles that scale
• Drive end-to-end product design by owning the UI/UX across the full product lifecycle
• Invent new ways to interact with finance data and shape what we build
• Develop a deep understanding of the accounting and finance domain
• Build and scale user understanding by leading user research efforts
• Move fast and learn faster, balancing speed and polish with pragmatic trade-offs

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in product design, ideally at a fast-paced startup
• Fluent in Figma and skilled in prototyping complex user flows
• Comfortable navigating uncertainty and setting your own direction
• Strong product judgment and excellent collaboration skills
• Experience with frontend code and familiarity with SQL is a plus
• Experience with accounting/finance tooling or founding designer experience is a bonus
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in ambiguous environments
